June is bursting at the seams with long days of sunlight, lupines galore, and a cornocopia of cruises! And if you’re lookimng for a windjammer trip with a little something different, check out these specialty cruises. Each of these trips still has a few spots left!

Lighthouse cruises

No matter which windjammer you sail on, you’re bound to see lighthouses. Penobscot Bay is home to over a dozen, many of which you can’t see from the mainland. However, some windjammer trips offer a few more opportunities to sail up close to, photograph, and learn more about these magnificent structures. Murder Mystery Tour

Join the Heritage on a trip of mystery as we explore the wonders of the Maine Coast with an evening of mystery and suspicion.

Solve a murder on the high seas by questioning your shipmates and tracking down clues. Guests will be provided with character bios before the trip and there will be prizes for the best costume and most in character.

Don’t forget to bring your appetite for an all you can eat lobster picnic on the beach, and your dance shoes for a toe tapping night of live music.

Your very own Captain Justin & Chef Jocelyn will be your guides on this adventure! Taste and choose a beer to pair with your lunch from a selection Jocelyn has chosen, and at the end of a long sailing day, head ashore with Captain Justin for a tasting and tour at one of the many small breweries along the coast. One night of the trip, we will head to a beach to enjoy a lobster feast.
