Known as the Good Luck Ship for over a century and a half, the Stephen Taber is a prime example of a classic coasting schooner: natty good looks, a wide stable deck, and pleasing sailing characteristics. The Taber has been in the Barnes family since 1979; Noah is the fleet’s only 2nd generation windjammer captain. Captain Noah and his wife Jane are known for their love of cheese, music, wine, and throwing one heck of a dinner party. Stephen Taber cruises feature house-made charcuterie, selected wines served every evening, delightful sailing dinghies and paddleboards, and informal live music.
