Chefs on Air

This winter three of our Maine Windjammer Association chefs spent some time in the studio kitchen of Maine’s nightly news magazine show “207” demonstrating just a few of their favorite recipes.   If you’re looking for an easy recipe for your grill or a new seafood recipe to impress your friends, check out these videos.

Chef Anna Miller has spent her last decade cooking aboard the Maine Windjammer Schooners Ladona and Stephen Taber. Here she shares her recipes for Sambal Chicken Skewers, Lobster Jalapeno Poppers, and Blueberry BBQ Sauce.

In addition to being a skilled professional mariner, Captain Sean Grimes of Schooner Heritage is a trained professional cook. Here he shares his recipe for Seared Salmon with Maple-Honey Mustard Glaze.

And, after a successful first year cooking aboard the Maine Windjammer Schooner Mary Day in 2021, Chef Ellie Allen will return to the Mary Day’s galley in 2022. Here she shares her recipes for Coriander-Seared Rare Tuna, Baked Stuffed Oysters, and Lobster Corn Chowder.
